CAMERS is a tool provided by the Center for Industries of Rio Grande do Sul to improve the business environment and attract new investments to the state, boosting business relations and facilitating operations that involve contact between national and international companies.
The goal of CIERGS’ Chamber of Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation is to strengthen the culture of using alternative methods to resolve industrial conflicts in the state, positioning itself as an alternative route to extrajudicial solutions for disputes. Its role is to administer procedures based on recommendations and requests from stakeholders. The Chamber is responsible for communication between the parties, arbitrators and mediators, as well as the correspondence, documents and procedures needed to quickly resolve the dispute.
CAMERS provides a list of renowned arbitrators and mediators, including leading state lawyers and national and international authorities on the subject.
The Chamber’s Bylaws, Arbitration Regulations, table of prices and arbitration fees, as well as the CAMERS List of Arbitrators and Mediators and other information are available at www.camers.org.br.
